Fantastic work as always my man! I still wonder what kind of scanner you are using that can pick up those tiny but very close together lines,,,,

Leinil Yu is one of the greatis comic artist America ever had...but...watching his style now is....getting closer or similarly just look like Travis Charest...sometime I confussed that...who draw this?...Charest?....or...Leinil...?......viva Charest.....

yeah not sure it's always a great idea to emulate someone like Travis...his work is so iconic.

leinil is great for sure though in his own right.

Damn it, that's awesome. He posted the pencils for anyone who is courageous enough to try inking. I may, just because it's nothing like my style. =p

More than anything it shows your inking ability. This is an insanely intimidating piece to try. How long did it take you to finish?

I don't remember now. I did one or two figures a night until it was done...so I wasn't really timing it.

I really like the use of crosshatching/directional lines in this! It really creates a feel for the different textures on every character, and a really fast paced sense of motion that is taking place.
Published or not, I think it's fabulous.

Not a published piece? ARE YOU CRAZY?! Ahem -- sorry, you've already admited as much and I'm not one to make claims on sanity, so just let me say, "good job, sir -- a fine example of inking at it's finest (but insanest...)."

i can understand how you felt about this. I had a piece I had to ink for a class and i was able to do a ink wash of it. it was so fun and the sense of accomplishment was so strong, I think that's what makes the difference and the reason for us to do these types of things=]

That is excellent! Yu has such a unique style - bit of charest, bit of mignola, few others as well and then his own great touch as well. You're inks look great on his work Rich!

Slick! :D I actually took my shot inking this piece and my biggest mistake is inking it on a letter sized paper. It's a very stupid mistake. 8D
