I am back finally

wow ok...the last 3 months have been so crazy.  I was working with David Finch on Wonder Woman and in the back of my mind I kind of knew...once that job was over...I wasn't going back to inking...meaning not inking other artists.  I felt like it really was time to move forward with my own work.  I hit the ground running once I was off the book and really spent the last 3 months having a LOT of fun, working very hard and learning...trying lots of different things...always pushing myself to basically work on things I wasn't very good at...so it might seem random what I post here for the next few weeks.... but I didn't really play to any of my strengths...no reference, no crazy rendered inks, no detailed backgrounds etc...I wanted to focus on what I basically sucked at.  I'd not drawn (penciled) comics style drawings for about 3 years so my stuff was rusty and those muscles although used a LITTLE when inking...it's just not the same...if there's 25 things you use to pencil...inking you really flex maybe 3 of those muscles...

so I had to really knuckle down and get dirty....but it was a lot of fun.

I saw colorist extraordinaire Alex Sinclair had given me a premium membership here and I was very excited to come back...but I had to focus on work first and specifically learning to draw tons of comics style images from my head.

I have a LOT of new art to show...and I am excited to get back into the flow here.
