I did this in a sketchbook and I didn't realize when I doodled it out I was going to take it this far...I don't think I really knew what I was going to draw when I started it...I think I remember it being a skull or some kind of monster face....but then it switched to "hey that kind of looks like Darth Vader"

and then I just drew Darth Vader...the down side was I didn't have enough room to draw any more than this oddly cropped version.

it's not really finished either...I never did the washes on the top of his head or the part where I'd pop in some acrylic white highlights to sort of wrap it up.

Well done! I love how his eyes seem almost hollow. I'm not sure if you ment it like that, but it kind of reflects the fact that he is a hollow man.

It has such a striking resemblance to a demon alien skull if you look at it from the perspective of a borderline visionary wierdo.
From close by however, you can see the typical strength of Darth Vader's helmet that symbolizes his bold stature as a has-been Jedi turned Sith.
The darkness which dims the helmet is probably what caused all the effects to be visible.
That's why I give this masterpiece a 10 out of 10.
